摘要：The invention relates to methods, devices or systems for reducing signaldegradations in optical transmission links. The aim of the invention is to provide a novelmeans for ensuring a flexible manipulation for the improvement of an optical signal,especially during operation, in a simple and cost-effective manner. To this end, a signaldegradation in an optical transmission link is reduced by at least partially compensating achromatic dispersion and a polarisation mode dispersion of an optical signal, by adaptingthe temperature of a dispersion compensation device (160) coupled into the transmissionlink.
