Step 1Presentation
1. Listen and answer.
T: Let’s listen to a conversation between Hobo and Eddie. Find out theanswers to the following two questions.
(1) Whatdoes Eddie want to eat?
(2) Why does Hobo want to haveapples?
2. Listen and fill in the blanks.
T: Now, let’slisten and repeat what you hear emotionally. Then finish the following passage accordingto what you hear.
It’s _______.Hobo and Eddie are talking about what to eat. Eddie would like to have a _______.But Hobo thinks hamburgers are not _______ for their health, and that Eddieshould have an _______, because an apple a day _______ the doctor away. 1. Show the five groups of food with pictures.
T: Boys andgirls, thank you for your information and I have written down what you want toeat and drink. Please give me one minute and I’ll divide all the food into fivegroups. Then you should check if I miss something you want, OK?
T: Look at thefive groups. They are fruits, meat, vegetables, snacks and drinks. Which onewould you like to check first?
(1) Vegetables: potatoes, tomatoes, carrots
(2) Fruits: oranges, apples, bananas, lemons, mangoes, watermelons
(3) Meat: chicken, beef, fish, pork
(4) Drinks: coffee, milk, tea, Cola, juice
(5) Snacks: sweets, chocolate, cakes
2. Put the food into the correct groups.
T: Boys andgirls, thank you for helping me check all the food. Now Millie has collectedsome information about food. Would you like to help her put the food into thecorrect groups?
3. Listen and answer.
T: Boys andgirls, Millie and Daniel are talking about food they like or dislike.
Now let’slisten to their conversation and answer the following questions.

6. Make a survey.
