Teaching steps:

ⅠPresentation

T: show the pictures of number one to number twelve.

Use games to practice the numbers.

CAI: show the pictures of the text.

T: class, say hello to Dan/Katie/Tim

T: I say hello you say hi. Hello

S1: hi

Teaches the sentence: now let’ s play hide and seek.

1. Ss: one---twelve.

T: let’s find them.

Ss: I can see you.

2. Make a game:

Ss chant from one to twelve / from ten to one

3. Say the numbers one by one.

4. T: point any number, : What number is it?... It’s number one.

ⅡTeaches some letters.

1. Show the CAI. Introduce the letters Ff, Gg, Hh, Ii, Jj.

2. Read after the teacher. Practise: T: What’s the letter? Ss: Ff

3. Teaches how to write the letters.

4. Take a dictation.

一、介绍教材

本课程选择的教材是亚历山大编写的新世纪少儿英语，这本教材的编者也编写了新概念英语，所以可以说这本教材是新概念英语的起点教材，与新概念英语有很多地方类似，对于孩子们以后上新概念英语也起了一个衔接任用。

本教材分30个课时，每课都有对话及单词。每个课时的蓝色方框部分是需要重点掌握的内容，要求会听、说、读、写，其它对话要求背诵。这本教材学完后，我们会继续引入看听学教材，最终过渡到新概念英语，达到整个小学阶段能自如运用英语谈论生活中简单的话题，能够读、写比较简单的对话及篇章。

二、介绍教法

每节课会从单词引入，结合自然拼读法让孩子慢慢学会自己认读单词。由单词过渡到句子并到对话，让孩子能说对话并知道意思。下一节课会检查孩子背诵对话并听写单词。

三、家长要求

我们会建立微信群，在群里布置作业。对于听、读、背诵的作业要求家长在微信群里上传，我们检查。抄写及听写的作业第二节课会批改并再次听写，检查掌握情况。对于掌握不够好的孩子会在课后留下来继续巩固。希望我们的课程能够帮助您的孩子掌握更多的英语学习方法，持续培养对英语的学习兴趣，获得比较好的英语成绩！
