摘要：The invention relates to an absorbent material on a nonwoven fabric basis,consisting of a fibrous gauze preferably having a longitudinally oriented initial fiberposition, which is solidified by mesh formation while obtaining a three-dimensional fiberorder. Furthermore, a fiber pile layer having a mainly vertical fiber orientation is formed,wherein the fiber pile layer has largely preponderantly a loop shape in a manner avoidingfiber tear-out. The material is in particular suitable for being used as a paint rollercovering or dye-feeding roller, i.e. for applying liquid substances onto surface structures.
