一、教学设计（Teaching design)

1 Let the students know more about the fashion aspect.

2 Let students learn English words and phrases in interesting and relaxing way from the characters’lines.

3 Making students can better understand the importance of the dream and courage.

4 To improve the student’s oral English ability by practicing the sentences.

5 Push the students to think over their coming graduate and let them prepare the future plan earlier.

二、教学任务（Teaching Task）:

ⅠTeaching Aids: PPT, video, pictures ,music songs and so on.

II Teaching Objectives:

4. Memorable Lines :

III. Teaching difficulties and key point: the method of word building: sometimes noun add ing it means sth is small or sb is young, eg. ducking小鸭，幼鸭；seeding幼苗;sapling 年轻人;noun and noun is still a noun, the new word’s meaning is that the former words’ meaning toghther, eg. Menswear 男装 ladies’ wear 女装 necklace 项链 footwear 鞋袜 high heels （女式）高跟鞋 and so on.

IV. Teaching steps :

Step One——Warm Up: Work in pairs and make a dialog based on the situation given below. Whiles making up the dialog, take into account both the advantages and disadvantages of the two alternatives.

Situation: two recent college graduates, A and B, are exchanging views on career planning. A prefers to enter a company, start from the bottom and then work his/her way up. In contrast, B intends to set up his/her own business by getting a bank loan or financial aid from parents and relatives.

Step Two——Watching the fragment of movie“The Devil Wears Prada

and then ask the students who have already seen the movie to talk about the

movie story. After then, analyse the personality of the main protagonists.

Step Three——A review on the movie ,completing the paper that has some sentences have lost by listing to one tape review.

Step Four——Leading the students to discuss the topic about the fashion and the dream and the planning after graduate with a soft music playing.

Step five——to talk something about the words , phrases and idioms with students, and the simple way of word formation.

Step Six—— leaving the Assignments to students that is to look the similar movies :How to Lose Friends &Alienate People; Swimming with Sharks ;Working Girl etc.

Step Seven——collecting the feedback from the students and self——examination and profound consideration
