The Most Awfully Embarrassing Thing That Happened to My College Big Bro

My big brother is in college and he's really smart. He goes to a fancy school and studies all kinds of hard subjects like chemistry and economics and whatnot. My parents are always bragging about how great he is at school and how he's going to get a high-paying job when he graduates. I think it's pretty cool that he's so book smart, but sometimes he can be a bit of a doofus when it comes to regular life.

Let me tell you about the absolutely most embarrassing thing that ever happened to him while he was in college. It's so bad that he gets all red in the face if you even mention it. I'm talking beet red from his toes all the way up to the tips of his ears! He looks like a tomato that's been left out in the sun too long. It was a few months ago during winter break. My big bro came home from college for the holidays. Like usual, he brought a bunch of his laundry with him so my mom could wash his clothes. He claims the washing machines in the dorm are too expensive, but I think he's just too lazy to do his own laundry. Typical boy, am I right?

Anyway, my mom was doing his laundry and she pulled out this pair of boxers from the pile. They were black and had little hearts all over them. I don't know why a grown man would wear heart-covered underpants, but whatever, I'm not here to judge. The really hilarious part was what else came out along with the boxers.

Stuck to the fabric, pressed flat against the crotch area of the undies, was a magazine page! It looked like it had been stuffed down there and totally flattened over time. My mom peeled the crumpled page off and—get this—it was a centerfold from a dirty magazine! You know what I'm talking about, right? The kind with the girls who don't wear many clothes.

My mom shrieked so loud that I thought a burglar had broken in or something. My dad came running from the other room and then he saw what my mom was holding and his face turned bright red. Without saying a word, he grabbed the underpants and nudie mag page from my mom and stormed off to find my brother.

I followed behind because I could not wait to see the look on my big bro's face when my dad confronted him about his nasty underpants surprise. He was just chilling on the couch, watching TV and eating chips like usual. That all changed pretty quick!

My dad shoved the boxers in his face and started yelling at the top of his lungs. He was saying things like \"How dare you bring filth like this into my house!\" and \"What is wrong with you? This is disgusting!\" My brother's jaw hit the floor and his eyes looked like they were going to pop out of his head. I'd never seen him look so shocked and embarrassed in his whole life. He kept stammering and trying to explain, but my dad wasn't having any of it. He shouted \"I don't want to hear your excuses! You should be ashamed of yourself!\" Then he

threatened to call my brother's college and report him for being some kind of pervert if he ever pulled something like that again. My brother's face was glowing like a stop light by this point. He looked like he wanted to just melt into the couch and disappear forever. I felt a little bad for him because my dad was being so harsh, but I also could not stop giggling about the whole situation. He had crammed a nudie pic into his undies like some kind of weirdo!

Later, after my dad had cooled off a bit, my brother tried to explain what happened. He said the boxers were clean when he packed them, so the magazine page must have gotten stuck in the washing machine's filter or something and then transferred

over. He swore up and down he wasn't trying to sneak any dirty magazines into the house.

I'll be honest, his story sounded a bit fishy to me. Like, what are the odds of that happening accidentally, you know? My dad didn't really buy it either based on the stern looks he kept giving my brother. But in the end, he decided to let it go and not make a bigger deal out of it than it already was.

Ever since then, we haven't let my brother live it down. Whenever he starts bragging about something related to college, one of us will shout \"Yeah, like the time you hid a nudie mag in your underwear?!\" He gets so flustered and turns bright red again. I think it's the most embarrassed I've ever seen my smart, serious, older brother in his whole life.

The whole thing still cracks me up every time I think about it. My big bro is supposed to be this genius who is destined for greatness, but he's also the guy who somehow wound up with a crumpled photo of a naked lady shoved down his boxers. I'm never going to let him live that one down as long as I live! What can I say, that's what little brothers are for—to tease their siblings about their most embarrassing life moments. This one was so awfully embarrassing that it's gonna make fun memories for years to come!
