摘要：The present invention is directed to a coin detection apparatus that is speciallydesigned to avoid coins' sticking in a coin passage and that is capable of distributing anitem to a customer only when a predetermined number of valid coins are paid. Coins (C)deposited by the customer are kept in a coin shoot (). The coins (C) stand upright on a

floor plate () that forms a part of the coin shoot (). The floor plate () is urged by a springmember to protrude into the coin shoot (). As a rotary disk () rotates, one end () of arecessed portion () defined in the rotary disk () leans on the floor plate () against elasticforce of the spring member to make the floor plate () tilt. Subsequently, recessed edgeof the rotary disk () continues to tilt the floor plate (). As the other end of the recessedportion () reaches the floor plate (), the floor plate () is disengaged from the rotary disk(). Tilt of the floor plate () causes the coins (C) to be evacuated from the floor plate (),and the coins fall direction into a coin drop.
