摘要：The apparatus (1) has a support tube (2) for insertion into trachea of a patient, asmall balloon (6) and an electronic logic (8). The logic is utilized for controlling deflationof the balloon below a determined inflation threshold. The logic performs measurementor determination of gas leak by comparing volume of gas i.e. air, entering the tube andleaving the tube. The logic generates an alarm if the measured or determined leakage isless than a predetermined threshold as the balloon is deflated.
