摘要：The invention relates to water-soluble copolymers containing (a) between 60and 99 wt. % of at least one monoethylenically unsaturated polyalkylene oxide monomerof general formula I wherein X represents -CH2- or -C(O)- when Y represents -O-; -C(O)-when Y represents -NH-; or -O- or -O-(CH2)4- when Y represents a chemical bond; Yrepresents -O-, -NH- or a chemical bond; R1 represents hydrogen or methyl; R2represents C2-C4 alkylene radicals that are the same or different and can be linear orbranched, at least 50 % of the radicals R2 representing ethylene however; R3 representsC1-C22 alkyl, phenyl, p-(C1-C12-alkyl)phenyl or hydrogen; and n represents a wholenumber between 6 and 50; (b) between 1 and 40 wt. % of at least one non-quaternised,dipolar monomer containing at least one nitrogen atom; (c) between 0 and 39 wt. % of

other non-ionic monoethylenically unsaturated monomers, and (d) between 0 and 10 wt.% of other anionic monoethylenically unsaturated monomers, polymerised into saidcopolymers which have an average molecular weight Mw of between 2,000 and 500,000 D.The invention also relates to the use of the copolymers as dispersants and maskedelements for pigmented materials, as additives for washing products, pre-washingproducts, cleaning products for hard surfaces, tooth cleaning products, and body careproducts, and as auxiliary agents for textile treatment, paper production and processing,and deinking processes.
