摘要：Means for setting a daily temperature set-back period in a thermostatcontroller are provided. To set the period, button C is pressed when the period is tostart, resetting a 24-hour timer 52. A counter H and storage unit L store up to 15 1 Hzpulses, depending on how long the button S is pushed, to set the length of set-back. Thepulses are fed to an LED 30 so the number of hours set can be counted. A review buttonR allows the number of hours stored to be read (as a sequence of pulses) non-destructively. A change button C allows the programmed energy saving function to betemporarily over-ridden.
