摘要：A communication apparatus that can quickly update a communication route atthe time of an error is provided. A node 20 includes a communication route searching unitthat spontaneously sets or updates a communication route to a target node, in case of acommunication route error such as disconnection of a communication route. Thiscommunication route searching unit includes a route search control unit 25, a routesearch requesting unit 26, a route determining unit 27, and a route updating unit 28. Theroute search requesting unit 26 transmits a signal requesting for a search of acommunication route at a predetermined timing. The route search requesting unit 26detects a signal which is in response to the searching request signal of the

communication route or an error in the communication route, and broadcasts a routerequest packet via the optical transceiver 21 in response to the detection. The routeupdating unit 28 receives a route answer packet transmitted from a node that is a targetnode or a node having a valid route to the target node or from the center node, andupdates the original communication route to another communication route based on theroute answer packet. The route storage unit 24 is connected to the route updating unit28 and stores a communication route table updated by the route updating unit.
