摘要：The present invention provides a MnO-free glass composition having a FeO ratioof 30% or less, excellent ultraviolet and near-infrared absorbing ability, and a high visiblelight transmittance. The present invention relates to a glass composition containing, inmass %: 71 to 78% SiO; 0 to 5% BO; 1 to 5% AlO; 1 to 3.5% MgO; 2 to 9.5% CaO; 0 to 1%SrO; 0 to 1% BaO; 0 to 3% LiO; 10 to 18% NaO; 0 to 3% KO; 0 to 1% TiO; 0 to 1% CeO; 0 to0.5% SO; and 0.6 to 1.2% T-FeO, which is total iron oxide in terms of FeO. This glasscomposition is free of MnO, the total content of TiOand CeOis 0.05% or more, the totalcontent of LiO, NaO, and KO is 12 to 18%, and the total content of MgO, CaO, SrO, andBaO is 10.5% or less.
