摘要：In a support system for sitting or resting furniture having a foot part and abearing surface part (18, 12) which are movable relative to one another, in which devicethe upper bearing surface part (12) which allows sitting or lying is supported on the lowerfoot part (18) by pendulum cables (16), two or more pendulum cables (16) beingarranged functionally in series at each support point, and the bearing points of thependulum ends located opposite the bearing surface part (12) and the foot part (18)being connected to one another, the pendulum cables (16) arranged in series haveapproximately the same pendulum length, a frame being provided whose heightcorresponds to the pendulum length. The pendulum cable attached to the bearingsurface part is attached to the upper side of the frame and the pendulum cable attachedto the foot part is attached to the underside of the frame.
