　　I am writing to invite Dr. as a visiting post-doc in the *Group(课题组) of *University , for a period of 12 months from January 1, 20xx to December 31, 20xx.

　　Dr. was born in MM dd, yy and received his Ph.D. from the College, l University. I have communicated with Mr. several times and believe that his English level would meet our requirements for a post-doc.

　　Dr. ’s expenses in the US including travel, living and health-care for the duration of his visit will be fully covered by the China Scholarship Council. There is no tuition requirement for post-docs. During his stay at University, Dr. will focus on research related to AAA and BBB in under my supervision. Dr. will participate several of my ongoing projects, and will collaborate with other team members as well as my graduate students under my supervision.
